Thanks to a lovely close friend I sold my first ever print today.

Sure, I made a profit – not a big one but still, it’s money in the bank.

But more important than that was the feeling of knowing that one of my photos will be gracing someone’s wall somewhere, reminding them of nature, me and the UK. It’s a privilege to know that people value my art: not so much enough to pay for it but more to put it on display, publicly.

This relationship with someone brings a true sense of reward.

Someone investing in my art, lending it value and credibility drives me to go on and create even more of it.
